The Journeyman Backpack is made of oil finish Tin Cloth and Rugged Twill for water-repellent, abrasion-resistant performance. A padded back and Moleskin-lined shoulder straps offer comfortable carry throughout the day, even with heavy loads. Internal organization dividers include a padded sleeve to carry laptops and tablets up to 16”. A storm flap over the zipper increases water-resistance.

My Favorite Backpack!

I have dozens of backpacks and this is my favorite! It’s just a bag, no fancy stiffening to make it stand up by itself, not a bunch of pockets and organizers, fairly heavy materials with the tin cloth and rugged twill. But the Journeyman just has soul! The shoulder straps are very comfortable, I’m carrying my laptop, iPad, notebooks, chargers, pens, edc essentials, probably 15 pounds of stuff, and the straps don’t slip off my shoulders, and the weight carry’s nicely. The selling point to me is this backpack just has a rugged old school look and feel, and that just makes me happy, so much so that it’s the only bag I carry everyday now. I work in construction, and when I need to carry tools up a ladder to get on a roof, I dump out my computer and notebooks, and throw my tools in my Journeyman. I highly recommend this backpack if you appreciate rugged iconic gear that just feels cool to carry and use.
