My go-to hat when hiking. Quality build and I know that it'll last me a long time. Be sure to also pick up a can of Filson wax to keep it water repellent.

Helps block out the sun and little side vents help with cooling. Although, on sunny days, it does get hot and sweaty inside. Good purchase overall.
